Elton John and Kiki Dee 'Don't go breaking my heart ' - Semilore
Ogunlowo
Close up shot - This shot is where the camera was zoomed in
Tracking shot - This shot we made use of the Camera Dolly (a
specialised equipment designed to create smooth camera movement).
Medium shot - is a camera angle shot from a medium distance . The
dividing line between "long shot" and "medium shot" is
fuzzy, as is the line between "medium shot" and "close-up"
Low angle Shot - This is a shot from a camera angle positioned low
on the vertical axis, anywhere below the eye-line, looking up. the trunk shot
is a specialised type of low - angle shot, it makes the object look strong and
powerful including great.
The setting was the sixth form study room which had good
lightning, while shooting the footage the actors stood in front of a white
wall. The music played in the background as a guidance that they mimed to and
help them to sing to the beat. I used a blue tac to place the lyrics of the
song on the wall by the camera to look like they were looking into the camera
while they read the lyrics. The only props that were used were a microphone and
stand.
I shots some master footage and little bits of footage that could
be added while editing the actual video. However the most effect were the close
up and the tracking shot. The Close Up - where the camera was zoomed into both
of the girls faces, the purpose of this shot was to see the facial expressions
and how well the lip sync is edited. The Tracking shot - This was effective
because the movement makes the audience feel like they are watching both people
sing live.
Screen grabs of the
editing process
The first thing i did was to import the audio from its file and place it on the audio
The first thing I did
was to import the audio from its file and place it on the audio one timeline.
After this I chopped the audio at the end up to the part I needed and locked it
on the timeline.
I also locked the
videos on the timeline, as I did not want them to move as I was editing the
other videos.
The yellow lines
represents the toggle clip over lays that i moved up and down. For the videos
that I wanted to appear i moved the yellow line further up and the ones that
did not need to be shown were moved down.
After the editing of
the video and making sure that the lip movement was in time with the song I
made the title section I selected, 'title' then clicked 'default still' on the
top bar, it brought out a little box with a title, renamed it and after type it
in the black space I dragged it to the timeline at the end of the video.
