Editing to the beat is when the images transition on the beats or
on significant beats in the music. This is done for reasons like emphasising on
the beat or the techniques used in that area. Also used to engage the viewers
or emphasis on the lyrics. Editing to the beat involves the music and the music
video.
For
my task I had to edit to the beat using Premiere Pro. I listened to the track a
few times to get familiar with it and know the perfect time to cut the beat.
Apart from editing on the beat i used a few video effects like lightning, split
screen, mirror and duplicate.

To edit the effect click on video effects which will drop down giving
the chance to pick any of the options.
This screenshot is for
the split screen where two clips are split into two and when the video plays
the clips play together but in half.
If the clips are too
close into each other, and are not seen properly the shot below shows the step,
motion, drag it my the little circle, click on crop to edit what you want and
click back on motion.
There are different
